Today we are back in school after 4 'snow days'. Since I only work Mon - Weds I was a little upset to see that school was closed when I was not there!
Even in Greater London, albeit the southern outskirts, we have had no buses, no postal collections and no rubbish collection. There was plenty of grit but too much snow. The car had to be dug out from the heap of snow left by the ploughs and expeditions made to the supermarket for emergency supplies - including wine!
Now we have freezing fog so it will be a slow crawl home this afternoon - at least the heating here is blasting out!
At least I had time to get on with inputting family history census data! AND I have been back in touch with a realively close neighbour who got me in to family history nearly 20 years ago.

Glad you stopped by - I'm always interested in your blogs especially as often there is a historical content - especially when you walk along rivers in Sheffield.
